[FSUG PD] Ubuntu Corporate Desktop

Ho scaricato ed installato su VirtualBox l'edizione per aziende di
Ubuntu, per il momento in beta.
Ho dato un'occhiata frettolosa, ma non mi sembra gran che. La stessa
interfaccia Unity (è basata sulla 11.10) ma soprattutto la dotazione
software mi sembra un po' misera Oltre Firefox e Thunderbird c'è solo
LibreOffice 3.4.4 (ma siamo alla 3.5.2!), senza Base, però, e non c'è
nessun altro data base. Personalmente sento la mancanza di qualcosa
che assomigli almeno a M$ Project se non al piu' blasonato primavera.
Nessun accenno a software piu' specifici aziendali.

Insomma, e' piu' quello che manca piuttosto di quello che c'e'. Forse
vogliono assomigliare a M$ dove col sistema operativo non viene dato
nulla ... ma Ubuntu non si era fatta una fama per un sistema completo
auto installante con quasi tutto il software di cui l'utente puo' aver
bisogno? pero c'e il supporto a pagamento
in compenso c'e un bel bottone rosso per spegnere il computer ...
penso che lo usero' subito per terminare il test.
non conosco le altre distro orientate all'azienda, centos e red hat,
ma non mi sembra' che questa fara' paura a M$ ...
